CONDITION: VERY GOOD -- 31st Printing from 1990 - Original First Edition was in 1961 - Book is Used - Hardcover with Dust Jacket though DJ is badly worn and has tears (see pic) - Shows Light Signs of Use - with Light wear from storage- Dust Jacket shows Moderate Wear - mainly tearing on the Edges - especially the top edges with about 1/4 of the DJ torn off and missing on the back side (this is a Heavy - Thick book - I measure 3" thick - and the DJ took the worst of the shelf storage wear with the Tears and creasing on edges and scuffing on the DJ surfaces. Actual Cover under DJ is in Very Good Condition with Light Wear on the Edges and Corners and some Light Wrinkling on the Heel of the Spine and even Lighter wrinkling on the Top. Binding is Still fairly Tight and is Square especially for a book of this thickness and weight with all pages firmly attached to binding though because of the width of the binding it is slightly bowed in the center - Hinges are Intact - loosened from Light use and again the size and weight of the book. Other than the Wrinkling mentioned earlier on the Heel - the Spine is UnCreased though lightly dimpled in the center - again from the width of the spine and from a book of this weight and thickness sitting on a shelf for some time. Title Lettering on Spine is Clean, Crisp and Bright and easily Readable. Block has some Very Light Dust with a very few tiny pinpoint spots (tiny stains) on the top of block (basically centered around one small spot on top of block - maybe very tiny splatter stains pinpoint in size and numbering about 20 or so) with a couple of small light rubbing stains close by same spot - otherwise the side and bottom of block is clean except for very light dust. 1986 Pages. Pages are Clean and Unmarked. A Lightly Used Book that Overall - with the Exception of the Dust Jacket - I consider in Very Good Condition - a Totally Readable and Usable Copy.
