Saunders Company - Philadelphia, PA - USA Published: 1954 Sixth Edition from 1954 - Original First Edition was in 1924 - Hardcover - Book is Used - Textbook Use -NO Dust Jacket - Cover Shows Normal Signs of Textbook Use and Shelf Storage and Age with Moderate to Heavier Scuffing of the Cover surfaces and rubbing marks and stains on front and back boards - Heavy suffing and rubbing on the Spine - with Some Fading of the Green Cloth Cover - with Moderate to Heavy Wear on the edges and Bending on Top and Heel of Spine where cloth has begun to tear in small spots. Gold Lettering is Fading on Spine and there is rubbing wear in title block on spine. Someone wrote "Front" in faded ballpoint in small block letters in center of front cover. Overall Binding is Still Fairly Tight and Square though it has Loosened from Use it is completely intact and all pages attached. Covering on Spine has loosened some with moderate creasing. Hinges are completely intact though loosened from age and use. Some Dust and Foxing of Book Block with Darkening from Age and some Slight Staining and Small Spotting with some small light scratches from other books and objects pressing against block. Small Markings and Name in Ballpoint on Front Inside Blank and back of front cover - with other Marks and notes in ballpoint and pencil through the book mainly in margins with some underlining and circling of items in Ballpoint and Pencil - Text is totally Readable and does not appear obstructed by any of the ballpoint or pencil markings. Looks like small spillage staining from clear liquid (most likely water) in upper open corner of pages285 thru 358 - mainly in margin - approx. 50% of pages appear to be clean and unmarked and the text is crisp and clean. 680 Pages. Though Used and a book that has passed thru maybe a couple of different students' hands judging from the markings - we still consider this Book in Totally Acceptable Condition - and a Good Readable and Usable copy.
